I have had this up on my wall in every room I have ever lived in, from home to college dorm to medical school housing, serving as an important source of wisdom for the past 18 years. Thank you for your skill of pen & strength of woman, Dr. Angelou. Rest in Peace.

Today’s Mood Ingredients: Holly Jolly, All Is Calm, All Is Bright.

It’s Christmas Eve! Whether you celebrate for your religion or for the kids or just because, it’s the most wonderful time of the year & forever one of my favorites. It’s a time to be with family & friends and argue and snuggle and annoy and cuddle and of course, last but never least, drink. Eggnog, obviously..or scotch..whatever.

With a post bordering on tired and banal (but I don’t care), here are a few of my favorite things. Have a bright, sparkly, lovely Christmas and take the time to think of some of your truly favorite things, you may be surprised at what you end up with.
